Create Email Aliases

To create  email aliases, follow the steps below:

  1. Log into the control panel.
  2. Select the Exchange tab from the menu bar.
  3. Click the display name of the mailbox for whom you wish to create an alias for.
  4. Click the “E-mail addresses” tab.
  5. Click “Add New E-mail Address” under the “E-mail Addresses” section.
  6. type in the email alias in the “Email Address” field.
  7. Click the “Submit” button.
  8. Once the **NEW** alias has been created you can set the new alias as the primary email address for the account and use it as the login for the account by following the next screenshots.
  9. Check the checkbox of the new alias that was created and Click the “Change” button.

  10. Make sure the “E-mail address” field is checked and hit the “Next >>” button.


  11. Select the new alias you created and click the “Set as primary e-mail address” link.  If you want the user to use this new email address to login to the account Select the “Synchronize Service User’s login with primary e-mail address” checkbox and hit the “Finish” button.


  12. The new alias that was created will now be the primary email address and the end user will use it to login to the acc0unt. has written 85 articles
